Course overview
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) has been designed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Heart Association to teach an evidence-based approach to resuscitation of the newborn.
What to expect
Skills stations will contain the devices and equipment used in clinical settings. Each station provides an opportunity to practice and review performance checklists in preparation for the simulation experience.
Simulated scenarios during the course are designed to foster teamwork and communication as well as test the provider's mastery of the NRP core content.
Debriefing will immediately follow each scenario.

Bag mask/ PPV, with corrective actions.
Initial steps of resuscitation.
Chest compressions.
Medication skills.
Emergency umbilical line prep and placement.
Team Simulation and Debriefing.
