HRH Princess Muna, World Health Organization patron for Nursing and Midwifery in the Eastern Mediterranean Region and president of the Jordanian Nursing Council, on Thursday, 6th April, 2017 inaugurated the new placement of The Specialty Training Center (STC) at the Specialty Hospital.
She also attended the signing of an agreement to implement the Advanced Trauma Life Support training program (ATLS) between The National ATLS Center /ATLS Jordan Chapter (Currently represented by the NEMSEC) and Specialty Training Center /Specialty Hospital.
The Advanced Trauma Life Support program was developed by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Committee on Trauma (COT) which presents a concise approach to assessing and managing multiply injured patients.
The Specialty training centre is an authorized international training center by the American Heart Association which provides all life support training program and conducts different medical programs for doctors, nurses, and other supportive medical services. Other services provided by STC include clinical training, simulation training courses, coordinating and organizing local and international conferences.
