***  Nutritional assessment for out patients, including:

  • Patient interview.
  •  Assessment of patient's daily life style and food intake.
  •  Plan of care, including:
  1. Using the needed equations to calculate: ( BMI- body mass index, IBW- ideal body weight, ABW- adjusted body weight, BEE- basal energy expenditure, BMR- basal metabolic rate, and energetic needs for: ( Adult, pediatric, pregnant, lactating, and patients of some diseases.
  2. Diet planning & serving distribution.
  3. Weight maintenance & follow up visits.
  4. Enables you to gain practical experience in nutrition & slimming clinic.

 

 

*** Case study:

After completing the course you will be required to submit a case study based on based on your work with a client of your choosing, this will allow you to put your knowledge into practice.
